The background and some of the results achieved with these actions have been presented in the several communication and training actions organized within POLIS. Definitely the most important pilot action is the identification of Lisbon’s Solar Potential at the built patrimony level. This work was finalized in August and the tool that allows the public to consult Lisbon’s solar potential is now available. For the public launch of this tool a communication session was organized on the 18th of September. This action aimed not only to present the online tool, but the overall goal of the POLIS project, the results achieved within the pilot actions developed in Lisbon and the results achieved by the consortium such as the database and the Solar Urban Planning Guidelines Manual.
